FOR KIDS ONLY! Open Studio Art Time
This is a special open art studio drop-off event for ages 6+ only. They will paint a wood or pottery project from our selection of designs. They will be here for 1.5 hours. The price is $40 per child and covers wood/pottery project/s, creative free play, and painting supplies. (aprons, paints, and brushes are provided) Space is limited to 10 painters. This requires pre-registration; sorry, there are no walk-ins for this event.

Kid's Art Workshop: Let's Go Van Gogh
Drop off for ages 6-12 for two hours of art making VanGogh style- think sunflowers & starry nights), friendship, and free play. Dress for a mess and bring a water bottle & a peanut- free snack. Call me with questions.
Door Hanger Sample Sale & Summer Inventory Blow Out
This weekend begins the first ever sample sale of my door hanger designs. You have seen them and love them and now you can purchase one of my already hand painted ones. I have accumulated too many for storage. Come by the studio to take a look and purchase. I am also blowing out all of my summer inventory so all unfinished wood and pottery pieces are on sale to take home so you can paint all year. Call me for more information!

An Inside Out 2 Artrageous Party
Join us for an Inside Out 2- inspired art party!
Your ticket includes entry to the event & all of the supplies to create a rainbow of emotions glitter jar, and paint your favorite character's face on a bag to fill with popcorn!
Each kiddo receives an Inside Out 2 coloring page and a sticker. And take a pic in front of our Inside Out wall.
For an additional cost, create a gumball bead Memory necklace or pen.

LBA Shell Painting Contest
Bring your own shell to paint for the Lavallette Business Associations’ annual shell painting contest. Beach House Studio will provide paints and brushes. This is a free event located outside the studio. Leave your shell with us to be judged for first, second and third places. Winners receive gift cards to local business! For more info call the studio.
Create Your Own Sea Glass Canvas
Celebrate Summer and join Simply SeaGlass & Shells, LLC for a fun workshop in our studio where you will design (2) 4x6 sea glass & shell art canvases . Twine is attached to the back of them to hang. All supplies are included, as well as guided instruction. Just bring your imagination. You are also welcome to bring any of your own special sea glass pieces to use! A light snack will be provided; bring your own refreshments.
This is a perfect workshop for the whole family- ages 12 and up!

Storytelling Yoga With Bookmark Making
Storytelling Vinyasa Flow & Bookmark Making Workshop with Natalie Join us for a new and exciting workshop with yoga instructor and mythological enthusiast Natalie. This fun flowy, vinyasa style class is a balance of strength and stretch. Natalie uses her background in acting, singing and dance to bring you stories of mythology through movement. Myths have the power to outlast time through their wisdom and charm. Discover how you can use their ancient wisdom in a modern world. Start out with a 60 min flow then end with 30 min community share on our mats while drinking tea and making our own bookmarks.

Moana Inspired Luau with Blooming Buddies!
Join Ms Ashley from Blooming Buddies and Ms Carolyn as they team up to bring you this special camp event! Campers will be using beach materials and hide "te fiti's" heart inside a keepsake sensory bottle.
It's an authentic luau! We will be stringing our own leis while listening to Hawaiian -themed music and playing a game of freeze dance and maybe a little limbo! Ages 4-8 drop off
Date Night Drop Off: Kids Night In
Do you need a night out? This drop-off is filled with art exploration and socializing for your school -aged children ages 4+. This time gives you a chance to enjoy an evening alone. Walk across the street to eat sushi, grab a slice, sip a coffee, or a cocktail. This is a 2.5 hour drop- off for kiddos to have fun creating an art masterpiece with different materials. There will be games too! Children are encouraged to use their manners to ensure they have a safe and fun time in our really cool art space!
Children should dress comfortably and bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack. Please be sure they have already eaten dinner. We will have teen/college student helpers also to help keep your children engaged and happy! No cell phones if possible :)

Ladies Night: DIY Summer Door Hangers
This is a fun night of painting, crafting, and socializing. You will choose from our selection of 16"wood round door hanger designs (supplies are limited to in stock). Designs come in pieces, much like a puzzle, which you paint with your own color palette and then construct with glue. Finishing touches including ribbon are then added. Dress comfortably and for a mess. The acrylic paint does NOT wash out. Feel free to BYOB and bring a snack if you please. A light snack of (pretzels/chips) is provided.

Kids' Summer Crafts Week
Kids ages 4.5-8 will use different recycled, repurposed materials and crafts supplies to construct, collage and assemble their way to creating unique summer themed projects.
This summer crafts week is T-W-Th 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Dress for a creative mess!

Beach House Studio PopUp Class at Blooming Buddies!
Why wait till summer for art class with Ms Carolyn?! Join me as I head north to meet up with Ms Ashley in her new Blooming Buddies space in North Haledon, NJ for a Beach House Studio POP UP art event! I will be offering a morning Mini Art Makers Process Play class. In this class, art is celebrated as expression and not as representation. Young artists, ages 2.5-5.5 (with caregivers) can interact with each other while exploring sensory ways to create art. This 45-minute messy playdate will spark imaginations & encourage free expression. Kiddos will be able to experiment with different materials including with paint, glitter, glue, and all of the things parents are afraid of! The best part is that I do the cleanup. Let your kiddos have some fun with the art-making process. Dress for a mess!
